Pink Friday – Touch of Pink

I’m posting my pink entry early so I have ample time to bloghop tomorrow, I hope so. So, for my pink entry here is a chocolate box with a touch of pink color in it. I did not know pink look great with darker colors.

I also posted this ornamental Chinese cabbage, that’s what one of the commenter said, in my Green Monday entry last week. This picture was taken when we went to Chicago. I don’t see this kind of flowering plant around here. The pink in the middle looks lovely.

  12. I have never seen a cabbage like that either. The pink totally pops out of the green. And yes indeed… pink goes well with dark colors too! :)

  16. Ornamental Chinese Cabbage is also called Kale, a member of cabbage family. You can actually use them as a garnish for food presentation or can be cooked too.

  18. Yes! Pink does look great on darker colors…especially brown! It brightens and accentuates the pink more, I believe. Actually, pink and brown were the color motif at my sister’s wedding. Parang old-romantic ang dating! :D
